3.1 - Parte 5 - Saying What Someone Likes to Do Using gustar + infinitive

An answer key has been provided.

NOTE: Having access to the answers for assignments, comes with responsibility. Used properly, answers keys are used after you have attempted the assignment. If you are unsure about how to do an assignment, previewing the answers briefly can be useful. Obviously, copying answers directly from the key to the assignment would have little value. It will be your responsibility to use the answers keys in a way to maximize your understanding of the objective of the assignment.

Unidad 2, etapa 2 - el verbo "estar" (texto p134) in Google Classroom

Unidad 2, etapa 2 - el verbo "estar" (texto p134)

I recommend that you watch the video below that I made when I was a very young teacher. Also read the lesson about the verb "estar" on page 134 of the textbook.

¡Apunte importante! - Notice the the forms of "ir" and "estar" are similar to the regular "-ar" verbs (test p109) that you learned in lesson 2.1, last trimester. But notice also that "estar" has accent marks on three of the forms: tú estás, él/ella/Ud. estás and ellos/ellas/Uds. están.

¡También! (Also!) - To say that a person is at home simply use the word "casa" with out the "la". For example:
Pedro está en casa. - Pedro is at home. or Pedro is home.
Yo estoy en casa. - I am at home. or I am home.

DIACRITIC CHALLENGE !!! (Not required) in Google Classroom

DIACRITIC CHALLENGE !!! (Not required)

A diacritic is an extra symbol added to an existing letter, in other words, an accent mark. The challenge is to see if you can figure out how to do all the accents (á, é, í, ó, ú, ñ, ¡, ¿, ü. The ü is very uncommon). Research how to do it on the device you are using for your Spanish work. Once you figure it out, complete the following brief form.

Username Survey (Not required) in Google Classroom

Username Survey (Not required)

Dear students, Thank you for taking the time to sign up with Yabla, Quizlet and Conjuguemos. If it seems like a lot right now, I hope you will soon find these great resources for practicing Spanish. The reason for having you join my classes in each service is to give you credit for the time you spend practicing on each site. However, in order to do that I need to be able to identify you. Some usernames are obvious. Others are not. Please complete the following survey with the usernames that you used for each of the three services. If it is the same for all three, be sure to copy it after you answer the first question so you can just paste it in the next two questions. Thank you for helping me with this.
