As you research and gather information about the Fur-Trading, Missionary and Settler Era in Oregon History, fill in this graphic organizer as a summary tool.

Using the internet, research the terms and concepts on the left of the pdf and write a definition in your own words as it applies to our study of Native Americans, the development of Oregon as a state, and the federal government's interactions with Native Americans.

On the right side of the pdf, you are asked to "connect" these new concepts with our previous learning about DISENFRANCHISEMENT & EXCLUSION. In the boxes, provide your definition for disenfranchisement & exclusion from our earlier vocab work. Then explain which of the new concepts are examples of disenfranchisement and exclusion. You will be randomly assigned to a breakout room. In the breakout room, each student will have a primary role. As a group you will clarify and discuss the guiding question that you are assigned. You may consult the reading and your homework from yesterday. Please provide your responses in the appropriate boxes.

Part One:

Part Two:
Choose terms to write a definitive sentence that includes context clues. Choose another term to illustrate the definition with a sketch.
