Welcome to the Fall 2020-2021 school year.

 

As we begin this year's school year please try to give each other grace as we navigate the technology and platforms that are new to all of us.  I do ask that if you are having trouble accessing information for any class to please email me as soon as possible so we can work to resolve the issue.

 

All of my classes (Geometry A and Team) can be found on Google Classroom.  I will be entering student's email addresses into their appropriate google classroom.  Student's will need to open their school email account prior to the first day of school and use the email to accept the invitation to join the classroom.  This adds them to the course and skips the step of having them add it themselves on the first day.  Everything, assignments, projects, announcements, meeting links, and assessments for this term will be posted in Google Classroom.  Student's will also find a link to the Remind App for their individual class. As a parent you can also use the app to contact me directly as well.  For those that haven't used the app, it is a way to text me directly without needing a cell phone number.  It is how I communicate any last minute changes, for example if the network goes down and I am unable to host a meeting.  Please ask your student for the class code or email me with your name along with your student's name and class period so I can send you the correct link.  

 

In the event that your student is listed in one of my classes and doesn't receive an email, please use the Google Classroom link listed for the class period on their schedule.  They must be signed in to Google with their school account or the link won't work.  If they sign in and are asked to "link their date" please click the "allow" button.  This will make it a smoother transition for the new platforms we are using this fall.
